I picked up Cleo early – couldn’t wait to get her back. I think we even managed to bond in the car on the long trip back! She had a meal and lots of drinks last night (great appetite), has been using the litter box, purrs every time I pat her and squeak-meows for my attention. She slept on my bed with me last night (her permanent bed too) and has been playing with the toys I have brought for her. The resident cat Smudgey is not impressed (she hissed at him) and the kitten (well young cat) next door is scared of her – hopefully they will all sort themselves out as they get used to each other. I am really happy with her – she seems pretty contented, and I think the only thing she would change would to be out and about – but that will have to wait!
Cleo is a very spoilt cat! Here she is with her ‘boyfriend’ Kittycat (black and white one) in the over the top cat scratcher that has been built into the porch outside my sleep-out! She goes in and out of my sleepout, the bach and the next-door bach (Kittycat’s home) helping herself to food and playing with all the cat toys. She is certainly very adventurous (has led to a trip to the vet because she tried to chase magpies) but I hope that she has learnt her lesson. She is also a very affectionate and purrs everytime you pat her. She is a great little kitten and I am really pleased I decided to get her.
